Hello all, hope that this message finds you well! It’s been a while since I put this game out into the world, and I’ve got a few exciting updates to share with you all.

First things first, I’ve just uploaded a new copy of the game with a few very small, long-overdue text edits. (Nothing load-bearing — just a couple of tiny typo fixes, and quality-of-life tweaks.)

Second, and perhaps more exciting news: I’m thrilled to share that Exquisite Biome is receiving a print release, through Plus One EXP’s excellent Zine Club program! If you aren’t familiar, Zine Club is a subscription program that sends members freshly printed tabletop zines each month. They host a mix of standalone story games, and adventure modules for well-known systems.

People who are already members of Zine Club can expect to receive a print edition of Exquisite Biome later this month. But if you’re not a Zine Club member and you want to pick up a standalone copy of Exquisite Biome, you can you can pick one of those up on the Plus One EXP website right here.

It’s been a real delight to work with the POE team to bring the print version of Exquisite Biome to life. Zine Club is a fantastic project that has supported a bunch of incredible games in getting their first print runs (a few personal standouts include Longsword, Jukebox, Tinoli Me Tangere, and The Haunting of Cliff Cove), and I’m glad Exquisite Biome gets to joins those ranks.

Sometime in the next few days, I’ll be raising the price of the game on itch slightly, to help offset rising costs of living since I first put it out a few years ago. I’ll be adding some more community copies, for folks who may find that price bump cost-prohibitive — but if you want to purchase the game at the cheapest it will be for the foreseeable future, now is a great time to do so.

Lastly, I want to offer a heartfelt thanks to everybody who has supported Exquisite Biome, whether that’s by purchasing a copy, leaving a kind review or rating, or playing the game with friends.
